Shropshire Inclusive Dance (SiD) is recruiting for Board Members and a new Chair of the Board. Our growing charity is moving forward with exciting developments and ambitious plans. We are seeking voluntary board members who are keen to share their skill and drive to play a key role in taking the organisation forward – to support our stability, ambitious delivery plan and passion for our work.

This is a voluntary role, but meeting expenses will be covered. New trustees are given an induction programme too. 

Deadlines for expression of interest: by 12 noon on January 31st, 2024

SiD are particularly keen to receive applications from people that represent groups that identify as D/deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and Global Majority.

Applications would be especially welcomed from people with knowledge and experience in the following areas: 

·       Practising dance artist and / or arts teacher 

·       Previous experience of being a trustee on another charity board 

·       Fundraising

·       Marketing

·       Digital inclusion 

Chair of the Board

The new Chair will be the leader and key spokesperson for the Board. They will play an important role in enabling the charity to continue its progress and thrive and they will support the other Trustees as well as the staff team to fulfil their responsibilities for the strategic direction and general governance of the charity.
